With the ultimate goal of ensuring that quality culinary dishes are being served, as our Executive chef you are dedicated to your work – identifying any problems that arise in the kitchen as well as resolving them quickly. You have a desire to develop together with the staff towards becoming the absolute best restaurant on the west coast. We’re not going to lie, there will be challenges along the way. That being said, we strongly believe it to be a very rewarding position.
As a part of the very top of the kitchen management structure, you’ll have responsibility for the operation of all restaurants at TanumStrand (read a bit more about them here). You’ll create new dishes and menus that meet and exceed customers’ expectations. In a smart way you’ll keep a steady eye on the finances without compromising standards. At TanumStrand you’ll manage all aspects of the kitchen including operational, quality and administrative functions. As a part of a big hotel you’ll also have to maintain good communication and work relationships in all hotel areas. Recruiting, managing and developing the kitchen team is included in your daily work.
