TanumStrand is one of Bohuslän’s largest hotel and conference facilities with 160 rooms, 99 cabins and a private marina for up to 250 boats. The hotel, which is open year round, is situated right on the shore of the Skagerrak sea, and can accommodate up to 1,000 guests for overnight stays, dinner, meetings and activities.

The Bohuslän environment is ideal for bathing and SPA experiences. In the summer, thousands of vacationers and their families visit TanumStrand to relax, play and bathe on the beach. Our indoor pool facility, Big & Little Blue, which features swimming pools, a waterslide and Jacuzzi, is open every day of the year. The New Nordic SPA Horisont welcomes those over 15 years of age to treatments, SPArituals, and relaxation areas with spectacular views of the Fjällbacka archipelago.

Seafood from our own waters is an important part of the dining experience at restaurant Latitude 58°. Our chefs have composed a menu based on fresh ingredients from the northern latitudes. Menus are made to suit both the most discerning of connoisseurs as well as hungry families with children. In the summer, Pizzeria Udden and the outdoor Dockside bistro are open.

For business guests, we have conference rooms suitable for both small and large groups. The Event Hall is fittingly called Skagerrak because of its size. If you’re looking for dinner and a show, there is plenty of space for both the audience and the stage. On the upper floor of Skagerrak is the fitness center and exercise hall.

Many who visit TanumStrand come to experience the natural beauty of the environment. Year round we fill our calendar with maritime experiences. Kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, outdoor exercise, boat trips, and oyster school are just a few examples.
